With Olympic hopes in the air, spectators are in for thrilling, adrenaline-fueled competition on the Oklahoma River. Elite paddlers from across the U.S. will compete in the three-day Olympic Team Trials, each vying for a position on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team. “Premium seating” grandstands will be located along the finish line with additional grandstands positioned along the race course. All seats will be first come, first served.

In addition to canoe/kayak racing, visitors can also enjoy food, the interactive “Olympic Experience” featuring ten Olympic sports and a children’s area with inflatables. On Saturday, corporate teams will compete in dragon boat racing, one of the fastest growing water sports in the nation.

Admission to the event is free for children five and under, $5 per day for children six to 12 and $10 per day for visitors 13 and older. Times for the Olympic Trials are:

• Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Sunday – 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
