Bartosz Wolski was introduced to the sport of kayaking by his parents who were both members of the Polish National Team. He was born in Poland and moved to the United States at a young age. Wolski was an alternate on the 2000 Olympic Team.

Wolski sticks to a strict training schedule. “I have clearly defined goals that I set out to reach throughout the season. My dedication and competitive personality help me reach these goals,” he said. In 2003, Wolski was a member of the World Championships Team finishing in 6th place in K-2 200m and 9th place in K-2 500m.

Outside of kayaking, Wolski enjoys spending time with his fiancée, flying airplanes, using CAD software, playing soccer and playing video games.
